Psychological Services & Counseling

Dr. Jess Louissaint, PsyD

Pediatric Associates collaborates with LifeStance Health to provide integrated behavioral health services. Dr. Jess Louissaint, PsyD, is a compassionate Clinical Psychologist who supports children, adolescents, and emerging adults throughout Massachusetts.

Dr. Louissaint is onsite at Pediatric Associates at Northwoods every Tuesday and Wednesday as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH). This collaborative model allows families to access behavioral health services in the same trusted environment where they receive pediatric care while promoting close coordination with their child's pediatrician.

IBH services begin with an initial assessment to better understand a child's emotional, behavioral, or developmental concerns and develop a personalized plan of care. Dr. Louissaint provides evidence-based support to help children and adolescents build healthy coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, improve self-confidence, and navigate life's challenges. She also partners with parents and caregivers by providing education, guidance, and practical strategies to support their child's success at home, in school, and in the community.

Dr. Louissaint's therapeutic approach is collaborative, client-centered, and strengths-based. She incorporates evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, to help children build on their strengths, develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and work toward meaningful goals. As part of integrated behavioral health care, she also collaborates closely with pediatric providers, schools, and community partners to coordinate care and connect families with appropriate resources when additional services are needed.

Dr. Louissaint has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families in schools, outpatient, and inpatient settings. She has experience conducting comprehensive psychological and autism evaluations and supporting children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, trauma-related concerns, behavioral challenges, and emotional regulation difficulties. She is committed to providing culturally responsive, evidence-based care that recognizes the unique strengths of every child while partnering with families to foster resilience, confidence, healthy development, and long-term emotional well-being.
