Appointment Policy

Everyone's Time is Equally Valuable

Pediatric Associates at Northwoods makes every effort to run on time with appointments, as we believe everyone’s time is equally valuable.

As a courtesy, we will remind you of your upcoming appointments via phone/text message/email.

We ask that you arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. We understand sometimes things happen beyond your control that may cause you to be late, however; we may ask you to reschedule if you arrive late for your appointment.

Missed Appointments

We request 24 hours’ notice for cancellation of appointments to allow us to offer the visit spot to another family.

Sibling Appointment Attendance Policy
Sibling Appointment Attendance Policy

We recognize that coordinating care for multiple children can be challenging. Families who have multiple children scheduled on the same day and are unable to attend or cancel those appointments without at least 24 hours’ notice (including same-day cancellations) may have future scheduling adjusted to ensure access for all families. This may include arranging sibling visits at different times or on different days. Exceptions may be considered in extenuating circumstances at the discretion of the practice and in discussion with the office manager or provider. If no appointments are missed for 12 months, the option to schedule sibling well-child visits on the same day may be reinstated.
